As we have all witnessed through news and internet, the earthquake on March 11^th 2011 has affected not only the Japanese, but all of us as well. When I think about what can I do for my brothers and sisters in Japan, I think about us, as the citizens of this world. 

Many has preached that today's world has become so much integrated, that we are not only a citizen for a particular country, but also a citizen of the world. That's when the term 'Global Citizenship' was invented. In an organization that I worked for, AIESEC, we embrace that term deeply.

AIESEC started over 60 years ago with a mission to foster ‘World Peace’. Since then, every AIESECer has been working towards that goal. I believe this is the time when we can truly say that AIESEC is still holding on to our original mission which is World Peace, by helping Japan in creating peace in their country and eventually peace to the rest of the world who is affected by this tragedy.

However, I want to invite all of you, not just AIESECer, to support Japan in this tragedy.
